Quick answers
What counts as a valuable card?
Any single card worth more than $5. Cards worth $5 or less are bulk, and they are priced by category on the Get Your Offer calculator.
How do you price them?
One card at a time, at 55 to 65 percent of market value, based on TCGplayer sold prices and eBay sold data.
What do I need to send?
A link to your card list from the app or site where you keep it. If you do not have one, list each card with its name, number and condition, for example “Mega Chandelure EX 038/084 Near Mint.” Photos or files are welcome but not required.
Am I agreeing to sell when I send this form?
No. This form only asks for a quote. You decide after you see the number, and you can say no.
How long until I hear back?
We will email you a quote within 24 hours.
Do you buy graded cards?
Yes, PSA, BGS and CGC cards, with prior approval. We evaluate them like any other card worth more than $5. We do not take boxes of low-value graded cards by mail.
Do you buy Japanese-language cards?
No. We do not buy Japanese-language cards, in person or by mail. Please do not send them.
How do I get paid?
We pay in cash, PayPal, or Venmo. Whatever works best for you. If you mail your cards in, we pay once we have counted and checked the package.
How we value single cards
Each valuable card is looked at and priced on its own, using what that card has actually sold for on TCGplayer and eBay, not an asking price. That is how we arrive at 55 to 65 percent of market value. On a $200 card the selling costs are a small slice of the total, so the number lands closer to 65 percent. On a $6 card the same costs take a bigger share, so it lands closer to 55 percent.
Turning a card into cash costs money on our end too: marketplace fees, shipping, payment processing, and the time it takes to list, sell and ship one card at a time. We would rather tell you that up front than hide it.
What happens after you send the form
We look up each card on your list, check its condition as you described it, and email you a quote. If the number works for you, we will tell you how to get the cards to us. Depending on where you live, that can be a drop-off, a mailed package, a pickup for a larger collection, or a meeting place that works for both of us. We never post a home address on this site. The details come to you directly after you say yes to the quote.
When the cards arrive, we check them against your list. If a card is not in the condition described, we will tell you before anything is final.
Have bulk cards too?
Commons, uncommons, holos and other cards worth $5 or less are priced by category at our published rates. You can see the number right away with the calculator.
