Two Ways People Sell Us Pokemon Cards

You know what you have
Send us a list or bring it by, and we’ll price it against current market data and get you a number.

You have no idea what you have
That is most people, and it is fine. We’ll sort it, value it, and walk you through what is worth something and what is bulk.

How We Price Pokemon Cards, Because Most Buyers Won’t Tell You

A collection is almost always two kinds of cards. Valuable singles get looked at and valued one card at a time, at 55 to 65 percent of market value, and we set that value from real sold prices on TCGplayer and eBay, not a guess. Bulk, the commons and near-commons, is priced by category at a flat rate per card instead. We publish all of our buy rates, so you know what we pay before you ever call.

Higher-value singles land closer to 65 percent, lower-value ones closer to 55 percent, since selling fees eat up a bigger share of a smaller number. Anything $5 or under is priced as bulk instead, at our per-card rates. See why on our buy rates page.

We use machine-assisted sorting, so we can count and value a whole collection in days or hours, not weeks. Bigger collections take a little longer. You get a real, itemized offer quickly.

We Come to You for Big Pokemon Collections

If the collection is large, we’ll come to you. Most buyers make you box everything up and ship it. For a big local collection, we’d rather drive out and handle it in person. Not sure if what you have counts as “big”? A few thousand cards, or a large single-owner collection, usually does, but when in doubt, just call us and we’ll tell you. Prefer to ship anyway? Mail-in works too.

There is no obligation to sell. If our number works for you, we can pay you fast. If you want to think it over, that is fine too.
