Sell a Whole Pokemon Collection or a Box of Bulk
Most Pokemon collections that come to us are not twenty valuable cards. They are a few valuable cards and a few thousand commons. That is normal, and it is exactly what we are set up for. Not sure if what you have counts as “big”? A few thousand cards, or a large single-owner collection, usually does, but when in doubt, just call us.

How We Handle a Big Pokemon Collection
We go through everything, sort out what is actually worth money, and price the rest as bulk by category. You get one clear offer that treats both parts fairly, instead of one flat number that overpays for the commons and underpays for the good cards, or the other way around.

Old Collections, Family Collections, and Estates
Maybe it is your own collection from years ago that you are finally ready to turn into cash. Maybe it is one your kids grew out of, or one you are helping settle from a family member’s estate. That is one of the most common calls we get. We’ll walk through it with you, tell you what is there, and make an offer on the whole thing. You do not need to sort it first.
What We Don’t Pay For
Basic Energy cards, code cards, pins, coins, playmats, and oversized cards. Special Energy cards can be worth money, so those are fine. If any of this is mixed into a local collection, don’t bother sorting it out first, we’ll do that when we go through it.
Graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC) aren’t a flat no. We’ll buy graded cards locally after a valuation, we just can’t take a mailed-in box full of low-value graded cards, ones worth only a few dollars each even graded. Japanese-language cards aren’t accepted right now, and please don’t mail those or graded cards in. Pokemon is what we’re buying at the moment. More games are on the way. Not sure if something you have qualifies? Just call or text us, that’s faster than guessing.
Questions we get about bulk and estate collections
Should I sell my collection together, or piece by piece?
For a handful of genuinely valuable cards, selling them one at a time on the open market can get you more. For a mixed collection with a lot of bulk in it, selling the whole thing to us at once is usually faster and less work than listing a few thousand commons yourself. We’ll tell you honestly which situation you’re in once we see what you have.
What if my cards are not worth much?
A lot of what people bring us is genuinely bulk, and that’s fine. We pay a real per-card rate for it — see our buy rates — and it’s often the easiest way to clear out a collection that isn’t worth sorting and selling card by card yourself.
Is selling inherited cards taxable?
We get asked this more than once a year. We are not tax professionals and can’t advise you on it, but it’s a real question worth asking your own accountant before you sell, especially for a larger or older collection.
Getting a big collection to us
If it’s a big collection, we’d rather drive out and go through it with you in person than make you box it all up. Roughly speaking, a truly large collection is worth about an hour’s drive for us; for something small, we won’t be going far. Prefer to ship it? Mail-in works too — see how that works.
